The Most DELICIOUS 100% CLEAN Keto Desserts

We first met Willy Kwak of Keto Krack’d at KetoCon in Austin, Texas, and we were actually a bit embarrassed because we couldn’t stop eating his delicious keto-friendly candy! Willy was gracious enough to let us keep coming back for more. We recently asked him if he would be willing to share more about Keto Krack’d and he was more than happy to share some of his story.

Willy is the owner and founder of Keto Krack’d, which he started in July 2021 with the intention of helping people eat healthier by elevating classic treats without the sugar or dairy. Willy was eating a keto diet and working as a litigation consultant in 2019. He walked into Whole Foods to get a highly-rated keto candy cup and at the first bite was utterly dissatisfied with the taste.

We Can Do Better

I knew that we as a community of healthy eaters deserved better and that we could do better. So that weekend, I started the company and enrolled in chocolate courses, and purchased confectionary books so I could educate myself on how to make truly delicious treats that were zero sugar, vegan, and keto-friendly.”

As the owner of Keto Krack’d, Willy believes we can make eating healthy easy, and we can do that by making healthy treats taste good. When we asked him why it was important to create delicious keto-friendly desserts for the sugar-free / keto / low-carb space, Willy said he didn’t want people to miss out on having satisfying sweet treats just because of their diet, whether that diet was a choice or a necessity.

I was struggling to find something that truly satisfied my sweet tooth while on keto, so I took it upon myself in making a treat everyone can enjoy whether on keto or just wanting to eat healthier.”

100% I Heart Keto Mart Acceptable Ingredients

When choosing ingredients, Willy said he values eating whole foods whenever possible and if not, then as clean as possible. With those two principles as a foundation, it was easy to know what ingredients he wanted to use, even though it was harder from a formulation standpoint. This careful consideration earned him our 100% acceptable ingredients stamp of approval on his products!

Keto Krack’d Featured Products

Keto Krack'd ButterFinger Bar

Peanut Butter Caramel Crunch

Willy says his favorite things about the Peanut Butter Caramel Crunch is the texture, taste, and how it reminds him of his childhood.

There’s nothing quite like the hard but brittle texture of a caramel mixed with creamy organic peanut butter. The best part is that it satisfies your cravings for something sweet, crunchy, salty, and chocolatey and it’s such a familiar taste that it brings back nostalgic memories of enjoying a Butterfinger.”

Keto Krack'd Aloha Coconut CaramelsAloha Caramel

Willy told us his favorite thing about the Aloha Caramel is again the taste and texture.

The chewy caramel is filled with organic almonds and provides the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and chocolatey goodness that’s reminiscent of a Samoas Girl Scout Cookie.”

We would certainly agree with that! Both the Peanut Butter Caramel Crunch and the Aloha Caramel make great toppings for ice cream or cakes or simply enjoyed with a cup of coffee.

Willy’s Word of Advice

We asked Willy for a word of advice about following a successful keto / sugar-free / low-carb way of life.

No matter what your current health condition is, put in the effort to make one small, good decision a day. When you decide to become healthier, it’s not black and white. There’s a lot of gray space in between, so don’t think it has to be all or nothing when trying to become healthier. It only takes one small, good decision a day, so whether it’s parking a little bit farther from your destination or choosing a treat that has less sugar than the one you normally eat, they will snowball into healthy habits that become easier and easier to implement.”

A special thank you to Willy for taking the time to share the Keto Krack’d story with us!
